Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026 (policy version 2026-10-28-c). This policy covers Mobile Home Move Guide (the "site", https://mobilehomemoveguide.com).
What we collect
- What you type into the estimate form: first name, email, move details (states, counties or towns, home type, timing), and whether you asked for quotes, with the date, the exact wording you saw, your IP address and browser type (so we can prove what you agreed to). We don't ask for a phone number.
- If you ask for quotes: which contractors you confirmed, and when.
- Basic traffic statistics from our host (pages viewed, approximate region, browser), without advertising cookies or cross-site trackers.
- A spam check (Cloudflare Turnstile) that processes browser signals to tell people from bots.
We don't ask for your last name, phone number, Social Security number, account numbers or payment details. Please don't put them in the form.
How we use it
- To email you the checklist and cost range you asked for.
- Sharing with contractors (only if you ask for quotes, and only for moves in North Carolina for now): we email you the names and license numbers of up to 3 contractors with an active state license who serve your area, and send your request only to the ones you confirm. Those contractors may pay us a fee for each request. Because they pay, we treat this as selling your information, and we do it only with your consent and only to contractors you've seen named. If you don't ask for quotes, we don't share or sell your information.
- Email only. We contact you only by email. Contractors you confirm receive your first name, email and move details and agree to contact you only by email unless you give them another way yourself. We don't make calls or send text messages, and neither may they using information from us.
What contractors agree to
Before receiving any request, a contractor must agree in writing to use it only to quote your move, contact you only by email unless you give it another way, honor a stop request right away, not resell or share it, and keep an active license for the work in the state where your home is going.
What we don't do
We don't sell or rent your details to data brokers, mailing lists or anyone other than the contractors you confirm, and we don't share requests with businesses that aren't licensed for the work.
Your choices
Email hello@mobilehomemoveguide.com to see, correct, or delete your data, or to withdraw consent, wherever you live. We act on opt-outs within 10 business days (sooner when we can), respond to other requests within 30 days, and tell any contractor who received your request that you've opted out. Any marketing email we send will include an opt-out and our postal address.
Security
Requests are stored in our hosting provider's database with access limited to the operator. If a security breach ever exposes personal information, we'll notify affected people as the law of their state requires.
Retention
We delete form requests 12 months after the last contact, and keep consent records (what you agreed to and when) for up to 5 years so we can prove consent.
Service providers
Hosting, form processing and database: Cloudflare (Workers and D1 database). Spam check: Cloudflare Turnstile. Email: Cloudflare Email Routing, forwarding to Google Workspace. They process data only on our behalf.
Children
The site is for adults arranging a home move. It is not for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If we change how we share information, we'll update this page and its date, and we won't use information you already sent in a new way without asking you.
